Over 500 civilian professionals who underwent a six-month training for policemen participated in a leadership conference conducted by Word of Hope Pastors recently.

The participants, 40% of whom came from various professions including nurses and businessmen, are lateral entrants to the Philippine National Police, while 60% are graduates of criminology course.

The leadership conference aims to equip, empower and encourage the people in the police force and enable them to teach others also, in fulfillment of the Great Commission around the world. The lessons were based on Dr. John Maxwell’s EQUIP International Million Leaders Mandate – a worldwide initiative to develop millions of Christians as biblical servant leaders.

The conference was spearheaded by Pastors Jhun Cunanan, Gilbert Galvez, Julito Balista and Marivic Cabanes, with Khits Encarnacion assisting as power point presentor.. The conference was held at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig. The group hopes to duplicate the event in other PNP camps in Metro Manila. Click here to see the album
